Infrastructure

The family islands of the Bahamas including Exuma have full service infrastructure and amenities which includes diesel powered electricity plants, cable television, telephone, state of the art wireless communications and  medical services. In addition, there are banking, several small grocery stores, service stations and a variety of quaint local bars and restaurants to explore.

The island is an independent territory and the local currency is on par with the U.S. Dollar. The population of The Exumas is approximately 7000 people. Traveling down one of  Exuma’s friendly, flower lined streets will transport you  into a world far from the hustle and bustle of modern day life. There is no traffic, stoplights or crime on Exuma.  The local  residents are the friendliest and will welcome you with a smile as you pass them by.
